I'm a couple of hours south, and never really get up to the big dirty city. What's bringing you out here?

Did you know? Willys is just Willis spelled differently, but pronounced the same. Neither Willy nor his apostrophe are involved.

So what are we doing?

Your going to miss the Woodburn MOPAR nationals on the 23rd.

Does Grand Wagoneer qualify as a MOPAR?

Sure, but only if also qualifies as a Willys, a Kaiser, a Rambler, a Mercedes-Benz, and a Fiat while we're at it.

Alternate answer: No, just as the act of opening a McDonalds franchise does not turn my grandfather into Ray Crock.

Grumble grumble...

Was as far as MOPAR nationals go. I don't really think so either but I checked and they will let you show and race AMC.

We could go race our FSJs and put them in the car show. Start up something for our old FSJ annually in Oregon.

That would be worth driving my rig up for! Lord knows there are more FSJs per capita in Oregon than anywhere else in this great land.

Lets make it for late July 2018. That will give me a year to turn my clunk into a cruiser...

They have it every year in July. I been going every year for about 7 years or so.
It's pretty cool all MOPAR AMC show and 1/4 mile races. People race Pacers, Parts trucks, moms dodge caravan, Challengers, Chargers, Darts, Javelins etc...

A lot of people just camp at the raceway campground in tents etc and have potluck and such. They drive in from whole PNW with the cool cars and a few trucks.

We should organize a FSJ section for the car show and make some noise. Or at least an oil slick lolz...

I'd enter and drag race my Jeep in 1/4 mile and let the dog hang his head out the window. Might get under 23.3 or something.
