Another 1988 GW

Hi, picked up an '88 GW about a month ago and this Forum has been super helpful -thanks to all. Just rewrapped harness that likes to get burned by manifold in silicon tape, new loom cover, and supported with a loom clamp off valve cover stand off bracket to keep it away from trouble. PO removed factory air cleaner so am now reinstalling and going through VAC hoses, replacing etc. Need to paint intake, valve covers and air cleaner ( i like things clean and organized under hood) Next up is to remove exhaust manifolds (oh joy) and deal with air tubes -one airtube bolt is backed out 1/4 inch and corroded in place. Will check manifolds for cracks, blast, resurface mating surfaces if need be and will most likely using a gasket vs factory approach. GW goes into body shop at the end of this month. Cheers all!
