Up-Date: SoCal FSJ Gathering Oct. 12th & most likely, the 13th too!

    Hey Everyone,

As I've stated, most likely this FSJ Gathering will turn into a 2 day event. We need to know how many will be camping ..... Please respond (by e-mail) if you are, so we'll know how many spaces we'll need. There's an obstacle course at Gorman that we'll be including on our "things to do" list. There's also interest in including Los Padres (close-by) area trails to explore also. Thanx James

OK, OK.... hehehehe, but I need an aluminum welder(very bad... LOL!), been having a h*ll of a time trying to get my project done, among other things, LOL!

Also, I would like to welcome IH TravelAll owners to the SoCal FSJ get-together too. Pretty much most of the things are worked out for the event & only a couple of things to button-up. I'm planning very soon to do a recon on the camping sites to see which would be most suited for us ....nice scenery, less noise- away from the moto-x bikes.

I was thinkin' of making a flyer for the event & people can make copies of it. Would like peoples help distributing it... promoting, posting them @ Jeep, 4x4 retailers, auto shops, local parts store, etc. .... Would like people to know there is an event for FSJ owners. My long term goal is to do this annually... different locations(we got desert/mountains/dunes in our own backyard), get sponsers for the event & provide prizes for competition. Maybe throw in a little swapmeet so people can onload their FSJ stuff.

But the bottom line is... I would like people to have a good time & meet good people!

Help us push the total# of attendees over 40!!! Support your FSJ Scene!!!

M715's VERY COOL! I'll be there rain of shine. Would be great if my Cherokee was ready by then but not holding my breath. J10 will make the run otherwise. I can't wait!!!

Sounds cool. I may be going to AZ that weekend, but if I am in town I will come up (1 hour from my house ) and check things out.

My Cherokee is scattered all over the driveway right now. Hopefully I'll have it running in time for the gathering.

                  Keep me posted James.

I'm thinking about coming but being a single "mom" (of a 10-year old girl) is tough on my Jeeping and other guy stuff. Count me in as a definite maybe. Johnny

Oh yeah, glad to read you will check out the area. Did the recent fire entend to the area you have in mind?

Regarding the flyer. Maybe you can do it in Word and email it. I can get them to the local (San Fernando Valley) Jeep dealers for posting. Email to [email protected].

it would be great to get a caravan going just in case the jeep gods want to rain on our parade. i'm about 20 min from LBC my bro in law lives there and my wife keeps begging to move there.

how about a pre run at azusa canyon to give those chevy blazers a run for thier money.
