    Two Years In A Row

It's the second year in a row I've made it through Super Bowl Sunday without knowing who was playing.

Maybe I need to get out more.

              Over Hyped

The game was worth watching, if you are into football. Score stayed close,
never looked like a blowout. Worst halftime show ever. Lame commercials.
The NFL needs to deflate the hype and just let the game be a game.

Too much politics, too much time wasted keeping up with it, too much money getting paid out to players and teams! Think of where we could be if we invested all three of these into something productive in America.

Yeah! I could probably get new tires for my Jeep at least!

Not to mention how much better health people would be in if they didn't sit on their butts watching sports and did it themselves.

True but the same could be said about wasted resources for any hobby/pastime. Who do you want deciding where people can spend their money and time?

If people want to waste hours of their time watching others play games that's ok. I'll continue to make fun of it. Doesn't mean I want to impose my will on them.

The same could be said about the entertainment industry as a whole.
Sports are just a part of that industry. As are hobbies in general.
Replace "players and teams" with "actors and CEOs" and the statement is still true.

What he said. I'd rather spend time with my family, play with my Jeeps. For the most part all entertainment is to keep the sheeple occupied.

I enjoyed the game, a lot of those players do a lot of good for their communities. And what they get paid.... It's not like there's a set amount of money to go around and them gettin paid too much takes some from someone else that don't wanna give it to em. My 2 cents.
