I Has VSS But Have No Idea What to Do With It

Aiight, hope someone can help here. Imma try to keep it simple:
I have a 1991 Grand Wagoneer with a Chevy 350 TBI motor in it. RUNS FANTASTIC! It also has a TH350 4x4 transmission and a new Chevy NP241c transfer case with a VSS on it.

I do not believe the vehicle has VSS hooked up to the ECM because it idles very low when Parked and I found a brown wire from the ECM that doesn't go to anything.I still need to confirm that the P.O. didn't hook up the VSS from the Wag's Cruise control VSS...

The Wagoneer has working cruise control that I assume came from the mechanical speedo cable(???). God I love having a working cruise control!!!

Because there is no more mechanical speedo cable, I bought this:
http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd886.htm

So, my question is this: There are 2 -wires coming off the NP241 VSS. Where do they go? Can I run one of them to the ECM and one to the Dakota Digital unit? Or is one of them a ground? How do I hook it all up? Any help is greatly appreciated!

The vss is internal you shouldn't need an additional external sensor???

Normally on TBI the ecm is looking for a 2k input from VSS.
One wire from VSS to ecm other wire to ground.

Some GM TBI vehicles use a buffer VSS output is split/converted for cruise, speedo, and ecm.

You need to figure out what your VSS signal is currently, if it is a 2k signal you can simply wire it up.
