65 panel

Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but this just fell into my lap, so I drug it home. Originally a 327 / t-18 combo. The guy I got it from had his own vision and its going to need a lot of work. Basically bought a rolling chassis.

Enough chat, here's what you clicked to see...

My first thought was "barn door" find.....sob....but you have your work cut out if you want to put her back on the road.

Ristow might be right, salvage theside panels and stick them in a 2 door W/T. If you do, have a 79 rad support that I put the rhino front panel on and grafted the rhino top center into so you don't need to fiddle with the top bolt on the grille. You can have it for the shipping. Would make a neat retro mod rig.

Lol, you guys are funny, if I was on the east coast, I'd be getting compliments on how little rust there is...
The worst of it is around the rear wheels, and I have a GW body for donor panels. It's probably going to get a restomod type build.
And I've been here long enough to remember this thread and feel like I might give it a shot...

New-
If referring to the panel rig, they were factory rigs,, based off the waggy chassis and body, a lot of them were done on contract as military comms rigs, and the civy market. Considering the numbers made, and how far back it was, kiind of rare birds now, and this one, in reality, isn't that bad, I've seen a lot worse.

If about fireman's build his was a later model wag he "kit bashed" to barn doors.

Well, got to take a second to look at it and got a little excited. The holes for barn doors are there. That'll make mounting much easier.
And a pic of the VIN.

She's rough but rare. Will be a cool project. 1313, isn't that a 2WD VIN?

I was told that the VIN says it was originally a 2WD panel with a Tornado engine (482th )...

I would love to have the time you are putting into Sadie...
