    Core support bushings

Does anyone have a source for buying replacement rubber core support bushings? I want to replace mine while I have the engine out and I dont want to buy the whole set and I would prefer rubber if possible. I haven't been able to find much online.

    TIA

    You?

As far as heater core supports. I don't remember what they look like, much less where you could get them...MAYBE from BJ's Offroad.

Are they something that could be made out of inner tube chunks from bicycle tires or from vacuum hose or fuel hose?

Or do you mean body mounts for the core support - front frame mounts?

Usually you have to buy body bushing kits. BJ's should have body mount bushings.

I just went through this myself...I ended up buying the complete bushing kit from Team Grand Wagoneer.

I had to ream out the mounting holes in the core support mounts just a little for good fitment.

This was for my 79 w/t.

Whatever you buy Scott, be careful. The set we got for Phoebe Too needed a bit shaved off those two bushings to keep the front fenders from getting waves in them. If I remember right is wasn't much, each bushing was shaved to fit that side.

Yes the two body mounts between the core support and the frame. I was hoping I could just get two and not the whole kit, bummer...

I just thought it weird that someone would put his coordinates on a public forum...so I had to look them up. Either GoogleEarth isn't accurate (and it isn't) or you posted the Coords to some place you were driving.

Anyway -Denver is a big area.

I hope you find what you are looking for for body bushings.

TGW sells Prothane everything, we sell some Prothane, some Energy and some Daystar -- we only use the best of all. The Prothane body mounts are not correct, they send the same mounts for the core support as well as the body and they are NOT the same.

We source our body mounts from Daystar for this reason.

The TGW mounts measure the same as the stock rubber mounts with exception of the core holes which required reaming of +/- 1/8"...really no big deal for most of us...
