    interior door handle rough operation

wondered if anyone else experiences this:

when using the interior driver side door handle to exit wagoneer

it is ruff on the return.

in other words when you pull back on handle
it operates smooth and opens door fine

but when the handle is returning to its rested position
it hangs or binds up a little before returning to rest position

and for some reason this irritates me a-lot.

any suggestions on smoothing it out ?

I don't have this issue but when I have had my doors apart I have noticed the connecting linkages move quite a bit between open and close. I'm not talking about the normal movement of push/pull, I'm talking slop in my linkages. I could see one of them moving and rubbing on something. You're probably going to have just pull you door card off and take a look.

Another thought, the last two FSJs I parted out the door handle return springs were broken and causing a similar issue.
