the shop that put mine in gave up,...
and left me with only the bottom chrome trim installed.

How did you make the interior side pieces for the speakers etc? What carpet did you use? Great looking Jeep.

Carpet on floor is ACC Black loop ordered from BJ's off road. Door panel carpet is the stuff they sell at AUTOZONE for covering speaker boxes. For the panels in the cargo area I pulled the vinyl off the bad backing and traced it on to new masonite and re-glued it to the new boards.

Tailgate was the wrong color so I resprayed it over the weekend.

Only spraying the outer skin. The inside is covered with a lot of carpet.

Came out nice, but I ran the clear. It would have been easier to sand and respray the clear, but I'am kinda dumb.

Was able to sand it out and not go through the clear.

It is not perfect, but good enough for who it's for!!!

Thanks Dave, and all checking out our progress! Starting to clean, paint, and gather up all the guts for the tailgate. Will have to buy a new window lift bar, ours is rusted out. Might bite the bullet and buy the stainless one BJ'S has now.
