    leaky QT

I've got the typical ATF leak from tranny to QT. Leaky at the gasket.
I was aware that the seals in the QT are prone to damage. I tried my best to not damage but I was solo on install and that is heavy. So finally to my ?..
Is the leak at the gasket due to a gasket? I'm going to go with a thicker gasket, smeared with something. Or is the ATF leak from a damaged seal and its leaking at that pin hole which I made sure not to cover when I installed the new seals. Either way I will again install new seals and gasket.
    Thanks for your time.

If you have fluid coming out that pin hole, one or both the seals in the front of the QT are bad. I use 1/32" paper and cut my own gasket then just a light smear of RTV on sealing surface on both sides.

Thanks again Flint. I'm enjoying driving my newly running jeep I'm sad to shut her down but I'm not doing it any favour by driving with leaks.
