Greetings, longtime member, lost all acct info...

Been on the list since '99 or so, "Jeepjake" was my user name, but the email attached is long gone (a Juno email IIRC). Was at the first Ouray Invasion, then the second. Got stuck on Imogene pass and wrote a story about it (since then a short book on Jeeping).

Wondering if there's a way for anyone here who'd remember me to verify and help get my old account back?

Welcome back Jake. Have you owned a FSJ the whole time while you were dormant? Pics?

Hi there, thanks! Name is Tom, Jake was my faithful driving companion of 13 years (half timber wolf, half Aussie shep), would get excited when I started packing the jeep because it meant we were headed somewhere awesome. Traveled around the country with me in my '74 waggy, Sierra's, Rocky Mountains, Tenn hills, Florida (he hated..., too humid and hot for his coat).

Helping with engine rebuild in California (ca. 1989)

Living in a travel trailer in Utah (ca. 1990)

To your question, of course. I've never been far from a Jeep since I was born (our fam car was a Willy's Overland). My own first Jeep with dad's blessing was a '55 Willy's one-ton pickup.

At Mom's house in California, (ca. 1987)

        Chevy 350 (bal/Blue) conversion in the '55 (ca. 1991)

Hari (Grimgaunt from this forum) hauling off my '55, Longmont, Colorado. (ca.2001)

My '87 waggy (written about in "JeepShorts")

        Engine merry-go-round (currently in garage)

Latest project (pray for me..., the addiction...)
