  • W/T on Uhaul trailer

I seem to remember someone saying that a W/T was too wide to fit between the fenders on a Uhaul car hauler trailer. She is wearing 31-10.50's on waggy turbines.

Idunno. Uhaul has a lot of rules about what you can carry on a car carrier. Prolly not allowed to carry a car.

I've had a long wheelbase J-20 on one of their trailers. It fit, barely, and nearly hung off the back end. I did not go far nor fast, but it did work.

Depends alot on the uhaul dealer, I can usually over ride if they physically fit, alot of dealers won't. Alot has to do more with the tow vehicle and weight restrictions. You'd need at least a ton truck towing it, physically I think I had my 83 with 32x10.50's on one of the bigger trailers, but I also had to have it towed once, I think because I only had a smaller car hauler on the lot at the time.

The buyer has a full size truck so no problem there. He's taking her about 90 miles up the road.

Just wondering if it would get on the hauler or if he would have to do something different. Already planning on taking a tire width measurement on Monday for him so he can double check before commiting to renting it.

              Thanks guys.
