    GW rear window deflector mounting

    Hello all,

I need measurements to mount the rear window deflector on a late model Grand Wagoneer.

If I knew the distance from the outer window stainless trim, or from the painted surface, to the first bolt in the center, I would be in good shape.

I also would like to find a piece of wood grain for the deflector. Any leads would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    WH

I have a deflector but don't know either (don't have a GW anymore)
Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental.

        Thanks MIB,

That was what I was looking for.

My TSM did not have any reference to the deflector.

        Thanks again Sir!

            Thanks J.

Yes that is what I need, I thought I would have had the cut sheet MIB sent in my TSM, but it was not in there. I have replaced the well nuts in the roof rack, I am sure they are the same.

Thanks Sir, you have been a big help with the parts and info!

When I bought mine I just taped it in position until I found where I wanted it then marked the holes.

That is a good way, but this is easier.

Are you trying to match a woodgrain? If so... Which one?

                    Hello Crist,

I was hoping you would reply.

I have the original wood grain, 1987.

I know the piece for the deflector will not match exactly, but being as far as it is from the rest of the other vinyl, I was just hoping for it to be close. Any suggestions?

I have. The fit is great. It would be difficult to match any woodgrain exactly unless you purchase the same from these folks.
