These pics were taken on an adventure that took place about 8 yrs ago, I finally found the prints again. There's a reason why they called the northwest ohio area "the black swamp"
On this first pic the top pic is the only reason why I couldn't drive out. I tried hard to knock the tree down, to no avail.
With these pics the top pic is myself (8yrs ago) finding a blown tranny cooler line. That was the end of the day, next day, laying in mud, fixed the line and kept at it.
These pics are just general mud, but notice my handiwork on that bumper!! Complete with chains for hooking up. That truck was a menance driving down the road.
Here's the interior after our adventure. Some will note the flat bed with no fenders. 360 degree roostertails, baby!! Of course this meant that the mirrors were quickly covered, likewise, the rear sliding window. What to do with a rear slider that's covered in mud - open it!
Noteworthy is the fact that the truck never was stuck. We hooked a 4 ton come along to the small offending tree and a much larger tree nearby, pulled that sucker right out the ground, roots and all! Then drove out. Man, that was fun! Thanks for letting me relive that one.
The truck proudly turned into a donor for parts and was put to rest with proper burial by Mr. Tonka2000
