    Cam Swap

Im reading alot about cam getting swapped but im not seeing much about doing it with the AC condenser in place....

I found one guy who said just lift it up enough, well thats not real specific.

I wouldnt normally care but I tracked down enough R12 to get it charged last summer. Prefer not to have to find someone capable of removing it.

So question, can I swap cams with the AC condenser and does anyone have info on that.

    Thanks!

    The guy is right

You can do it with the condenser hooked up. You'll need the grille and radiator removed then you and loosen some of the brackets that hold the AC lines to the valence/core support, unbolt the condenser, and sort of lift it up out of the way a bit and hold it with a bungee. Do the same for your trans cooler if you have one.
