That looks slick!

I went a different route with some signals from a Jeepster in between the headlight and faux panel. I still have some work to do filling in the old turn signals holes though.

I think the whole assembly off of the clip in the first pic would work best. It would look more natural as it would probably cover up the stamping highs/lows around the stock light & vent area.

For the two different sized headlights, IIRC someone put small sealed beams from a BMW in the faux vent holes?

divorced lights

I like'e the divorced style lights and keeping the factory indentions on the rino grill for the lights.

I've seen the CJ parking light installed in the faux vent cover but I was thinking about some bright lights and upgrade bulbs. Run a rely where it get signal power when factory high-beams were on.

That way wouldn't have to add a switch in dash.

anyone remember GBARRETT and see what pics of his looked like?

Is he still around? Guess I'll PM and see whats up.

I know that that regular headlight are a 7". Would a smaller 5" rounds light fit and work for the pie plates? I am going to be running a Razor grill I want to add asome Off road light in the pie plate hole under the grille.

What size lights replace the pie plates?

Cool Hull1962

That dual light install is slicker than the new Apple cell phone.

Please send more close-up pictures.

Info on the parts source.

It's so cool, looks factory and has great function.

You and Sportsidedan from Belgium build nice FSJ's.

Here is a pic of my Rhino dual lights.

The lights are from a 1977 Mercedes 230 and are pencil beam fogs mounted in 1970 Lincoln Continental headlight buckets. More pics are available at: http://n2jeeps.com

Rolls

Don't see too many of those at a wrecking yard.

Still like the divorced style.

Headlights

Guess my age is showing

The 1969 Mustang used four 5.75 inch headlights, anyone wanting to go to the smaller headlights can go to an aftermarket classic Mustang parts place and buy the smaller headlight buckets. No need to go to a junk yard or scrounge around for other vehicles. - still have to have the "plate" behind the "bucket" but that should be fairly simple.

I went with the cheapo 100 watts from wally world like the bug eyes I have on top. Trimmed the hole to fit and use the rubber bushing to mount. One retainer on front and rear to hold. I had to keep the hole tight for the rubber but they haven't fallen out yet. all I'm missing in this pic is the CJ rings I just put on.

dual headlights

Parts list to add two 5 3/4 lights in addition to the two 7 inch lights you already have, if you have a Rhino Grill

These parts are from California Muscle Parts (Mustang) but they can be found at all of the early Mustang places

Headlight Bulb Bucket 1969 13118D (RH) - 1 req'd
Headlight Bulb Bucket 1969 13118E (LH) - 1 req'd
Headlight Bulb Retaining Ring 1969 13015B - 2 req'd
Headlight Bulb Adjusting Screw 1969 13033C - 4 req'd

Headlight rings 3100235 from J&P Cycles - 2 req'd
(these are the least expensive rings I could find, the billet ones are $$$$)

two 5 3/4 inch headlights of your choice, I have two HLA - 0002425831 from Summit - they are upgrade lamps but are not DOT approved (not cheap!)

The only thing left are the two springs to hold the headlight buckets in as well as the "behind the bucket" mounts that I will be either looking for or fabbing up

I like mine

Not a Rhino, but 65 with Razor. A previous owner cut out the two outer hedlight holes from a 60s Wag, and weldwd them in to the core support, and used the same buckets as the outers. To wrap it up thay cut out the razor, and I think it's tits. Oh ya check out my avatar.
