Howdy. I'm up in the North, almost to Arkansas.

But we do have swamps here too, and while I'm a little higher than sea level than in New Orleans, it's not much. Monroe, LA is roughly 75 ft above sea level. And I abide in the Chauvin Swamp subdivision.

Most of that land is designated as "bow only" wildlife management area, so off-limits to my Cherokee.

Off-road park at Sicily Island has lots of rocks and some mud (i think)

Here In Jackson we wheel at Porter Lane in Florence, MS and and Monkeytown in Yahoo.

Also, you have the option of SuperLift in Arkansas.

Im one of only a couple that wheels a Wagoneer in cmsja, but I enjoy surprising the Hell out of everybody.

We live in Brandon MS and drive a totally stock 87 GW so any mudding is out of the question for our Jeep. I used to do a LOT when I had my Samurai. All the places where I rode has been shut down.

We get down to south LA from time to time though. I do trackdays at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose and we have a great friend at Friendly Yamaha in Baton Rouge.

            I'm in Louisiana...

            Hey folks,
I have a '75 Wagoneer that has just been sitting for ...well, I forget what year. I also have a '86 in the shop that I used to drive daily. It is or was a partially done tow vehicle project to pull my race car trailer. I have been into AMC muscle cars forever. Never went off road unless it was an accident. I'm not far from "caionneach", the guy at Chauvin Swamp. I'm near Stink Creek. No, really. Stink Creek.
            Your AMC friend,
            Nash

I live in Funroe too. I am new to this sight and have just bought a 88 Grand wagon. Got it cheap, but the engine is toast. Alot more rust than I expected but I'll get her fixed. Have a friend out in Swartz that has a lot of mud rides on his land. I am in need of a engine if anyone knows where one is close.
