Mystery electrical connector...
Hi Guys,
I have been searching on the web and here on the site and I cannot find the name or part# of the electrical connector in the picture.
I checked the service manual and couldn't find anything....It lays across the manifold...dont know if that is where it should be?
I just need this part, a CTO and an EGR and I should be ready for the SMOG guys...fingers crossed.
Any and all advice is appreciated.
Thanks..

Wiley is correct. If it’s currently running you don’t need it any longer. I cut mine off and taped the wires up when I went to fuel injection.

I don't have a part number, but I did previously look at replacing mine (before I removed the wiring) and remember it being stocked on both Amazon and at O'Reillys.

Orielly's was not very helpful so I decided to dig some more online and I think I may have found it!
I believe it is called a
PART# 35-128
ELECTRONIC IGNITION MODULE
FORD CARS & LIGHT TRUCKS 1975 - 1985
TRUCKS 700 SERIES & LARGER 1975 - 1991
F2PZ-12A199-AA, DY683
(MAIN WIRING HARNESS)
http://www.delmarwire.com/repair-har.../ford-pigtails
Anyways....looked it up on RockAuto and found it for about 8 bucks.
Hopefull it is it?
Thanks...

If you have to look again, the application is "Duraspark II". There's a 3 terminal connector for the distributor to the Duraspark II and a 4 terminal connector for the Duraspark II to the wiring harness.

I wouldn't replace w/ DS connector if you have to buy a replacement.
Just do this...can snip them out of a GM @ boneyard cost you few bucks.
Can also buy pigtails from parts stores or online.

The original Ford plastic connector on the distributor side falls apart pretty readily. Weatherpack is much better.
