OK, I now have a Heavy Duty Wagoneer tow hitch available. Take a look at this unit and compare it to the old Reese or Draw-tite units. And a far cry better than a Universal hitch!!!

It's a pair of 2" receiver mounts that you fasten under the floor to allow you to use ANY receiver / hitch step as a side step!! they are affordable, easy to install and allow you to choose any step you want to customise your FSJ. Website says 75-87 for the J-Truck hitch, but ebay says 76-87. Will this fit a 1975 J10?

The '75 rear shackle mounts interfear with the hitch. So, not for 1975trucks.
