Here's my 69 Wagoneer Custom. It came from the high Colorado desert so it's nearly rust free. What you see on the rear quarters is all there is. It had just under 100,000 miles when I got it and it's now not far over that. Unfortunately I'm in school in PA, and I had to leave it in Vermont, but my so called "reliable" Subaru is rapidly dyeing so it will be a daily driver agin soon. It is all stock for now with the Buick 350, TH400, and Dana 20 with a D44 rear and D27 front, but i'm still torn on just how far to go with it. I know the front drums are going to go away and I'd like to keep the 350, but the rest is up for debate.

    Done.
    Thanks,
    Tad

I just bought this wagon on 5/18/12 for the grand total of $250.00.
and I had the engine running in about 5 hours after getting it home. not quite sure what I am going to be doing with it just trying to get it road worthy at the moment.
All stock 6-230 and 3 on the tree.

        Done.
Again, it's really difficult to make the attachments match up.
        Our attachment feature sucks.
Please get a Photobucket account and use that.
We can not guarantee your attachment will be here next year or next week.
        Thanks,

New Member - 1978 Cerokee Chief S - Washington, DC

Hey everyone, glad to be a part of the IFSJA!!
First vehicle ever was a '79 Cherokee Chief back in the mid-80's.
Just picked up this '78 Cherokee Chief in Utah, drove it back East with the wife via Moab and some real good trails.

Will get some more pics up when I get over the learning curve.

Looking for folks in the greater DC area to meet up with as well.

            Thanks,
            Sean.

            Done.
Again I would ask that you folks use Photobucket or something similar.
I can't assure you that your attachments will not get bumper and they are really hard to works with.
            Thanks,

Hey everyone! Glad we have this site.
                  My 79 j10 Honcho

A not so good pic taken ten years ago before digital cameras. I had already redone my truck ten years before that. Well the new eventually wore off again so now it's under another major renovation. I bought it in 1985. I've owned it for 26 years. I had a 68 CJ5 I traded in for it because I fell in love with Jeeps and these trucks.

Some stuff I did way back to it and she still runs strong and sounds good:
body work, paint and clear coat by me.
new rebuilt turbo 400 with low range unit
new brakes, calipers, front rotors, front outer axle u joints
                  rear brakes and guts
mile marker quadratrac conversion to part time
                  superwinch locking hubs
switched to 4350 4bbl and amc intake
                  edelbrock performer cam and lifters
                  edelbrock timing chain and gears
                  small block chevy pushrods
                  trw forged aluminum pistons
                  chrome moly rings
                  new oil pump, water pump
                  Hooker headers
me and a friend of mine made the custom front bumper with the amc brush guard cut and welded to the top,
and the custom rear bumper, both made from schedule 40 2 " pipe
                  added lights on rollbar
                  new front grill insert
                  dual Nissan electric fans
                  three row radiator
                  new starter
                  extra spring added to front
                  2" blocks in rear
                  american 15 x 10 wheels
                  35x12.50s

This time I'm adding new stuff
                  edelbrock performer intake
                  holley 4150 650cfm
                  100 amp alternator
                  aluminum jeep logo valve covers
derusting and repainting all engine components
homemade dual snorkel air cleaner setup
                  redo the interior
                  body work and paint again
all new lights, trim, and rubber seals
I'm gonna paint it semi flat black this time and get the power steering box to stop that leaking

                  Done.
                  Thanks,
                  Tad

Here is my Chief, nicknamed the Molotov after losing a fuel cap at an off road weekend camping with some buddies from the birtydastards jeep club so had to shove a tea towel down the filler pipe for a few days - not so good on inclines!

                      It has petrol 5.9 V8.

Greatest mod has been gettin a middle bench from a T5 volvo estate and framing it as a front bench seat as that means the Mrs and our 4 boys can use it for camping/laning trips - just had a great long weekend doing lanes on the IOW.

Work done in the 10 months since I have owned it:

6-7” SOA Suspension lift complete with hi-steer (ie flat top knuckles, caster realignment etc)

Off road Phatchopperrod rear off road bumper
Front & rear replacement leather bench seats
                      3 x 3 point rear harnesses
                      CB & Stinger aerial
                      Upgraded CD player
                      35” BFG Muds x5
                      15x10 Black Steel wheels
Blood Red off road 30mm billet spacers

                      K&N air filter
                      Replacement side window

Next on the list is a brake hydroboost system and quick release steering hub and new steering wheel - have the parts so should be soon.

Only other thing I still have to do is a re-gear to 4.88 and a rear locker, I have the parts, just waiting for the right time as I have a mate who does it for me but I have to get axles off and schlep them over to him etc.

                      Thanks for having a look

                      Done.

                        1991 Hunter Green Grand Wagoneer

Bought it in December of 2010 and put about 10k miles on it in 2011. Pretty much 100% original. Had some paint work done due to failing clear coat and a minor hit and run on the rear quarter. It currently has 136K miles.

Parts ive installed or have ready to be installed shortly:

                        -4350 spreadbore carb
                        -Factory 'boat anchor' 4bbl intake
                        -Summit deep aluminum 727 pan.
                        -complete emissions delete
                        -OEM Grille-guard powder coated silver
                        -30x9.5x15 Firestone M/T's
                        -Cloyes double roller timing set
-water pump and most under hood rubber replaced
                        -coil over rear shocks
                        -TFI ignition
-Factory interior spare tire mount W/ matching wagon wheel

I am completely addicted now, but I want to preserve this one. So the plan is to garage the '91 and pick up another driver quality wagon.

                        Done.
                        Thanks,

My dad purchased it about 30 years ago and has owned it ever since, i turned 16 and wanted it and so then i got it and started doing the mods to it, im 18 now almost 19 and i have loved ever moment of this truck, i have to say its the most badass 1st car you can have IMO

Anyway on to the mods, its got the big ol' 500ci Caddy in there, dad put that in about 12 years ago now, its got a 6 inch alcan lift kit on the with some 6 inch travel Rancho RS5000 shocks and as well a RS5000 Steering stabalizer, Has some 35x12.5x15 BFGoodrich A/T's mounted on some shiney 15x10 Chrome Nomad II Cragars steelies. Still has the turbo 400 and the dana 44's front and rear with 3.07 gears, these were all rebuilt about 8 years ago and now has about 52,xxx miles on them, the exhaust is straight piped, none of the enviromentally friendly stuff on there. The paint i had done at a great paint shop and they pulled the code under the hood and gave me what i got now, i dont know the name of it because it doesnt have a listing in the service manual and a brand new windshield oh and the goodies for the musical people i have a 12" polk audio sub with a ported box and a 1400W amp to go with it and matching 5" door speakers

                          Future mods:
                          Rhino Grill
                          2-3 more inches of lift
                          k&n air filter
BFGoodrich KM2's 35's or 37's not sure yet
Possibly putting the white 2-tone back on there
                          redoing the bedliner
                          3.52 or 3.73 gears

                          Done.
                          Thanks,
                          Tad
