I can still get parts, and its just has so darned many uses. I found my TJ was somewhat limited in its ability to do anything other than transport humans.

They have a 'vintage' look to them, though, they are mostly a modern vehicle. Did I say that out loud? Snort!

        Classic body style.
        Lots of interior room.
Easy/cheap to modify for trail rig.
Not just another Baby Jeep or Chevy __________ (fill in the blank)
Curious looks from people on the trail who can't believe you were able to get your truck all the way back here.
Amusement when you tell them the State of Arizona considers it a station wagon...

Real AMERICAN steel, not airbags to compensate.
ALWAYS find it in a parking lot...
Traction in ALL terrains and weather.
Easy to work on, find parts(just look in the back yard), and modify.

                Do I need to continue?

Park your FSJ next to some weenie little punk b-iotch in a jacked up Silverado on TSL Thornbirds with a lot of chrome on it. Watching him stare is priceless. Notice there's no mud on his undercarriage. Then there's always the stooges that are like, "I didn't know Jeep made a pickup!" Then you can mention that they probably didn't know that their Chevy was built in Mexico, either.

Then there's the rides up thru Lincoln gap in Vermont with my grandfather in his Wagoneer in heavy snow when everyone else couldn't get outta the driveway.

They've always just looked like what I thought a truck should look like.

The style can't be beat. Runs in my family. Here in the Springs there is a lot of idiots with XJ's (mostly bought by daddy and complete with FNJeep stickers) that haul a$$ down the road and do not wave back. I like to be different.

Disclaimer: I didn't say all XJ owners are idiots. There just seems to be a large amount here.
