1310 - 1350 u-joint part number
I just swapped in the D60/14 bolt into my '78 J10.
I *believe* that I need a 1310 - 1350 combo u-joint so I can connect my stock rear drive shaft to my 14bolt. Anyone know what the part number is so I can call the part store and tell them I need X part number?
thanks!

I believe you are looking for a 348 (precision number).
Will check.

Do you have an 'Oreilly's'? My somewhat local one carries that PN.

Question for the folks running these joints:
How are they working out for you?
Vibrations?
Anything weird about them?
TIA

I wound up getting a 1310 D60 yoke for my front, and did not need the 1350/1310 conversion joint.
However, I am running a 1330 (ford) to 1350 conversion joint in my rear shaft and it is no problem.
The 1330 part will fail first, for sure. But it is no weaker than than the plain 1330 at the t-case end of the rear shaft. And no more likely to produce a vibration than my home-shortened rear driveshaft.

I used to run a conversion joint on my drag car with a 9" rear end. Never had a problem. Snapped an axle once, blew the carrier caps out once, never broke a u-joint. 6.399 @ 106mph in the 1/8th with a SBC Chevette (yes I said Chevette) on 275hp NOS. It would drag the back bumper for 150ft.

Shouldn't your handle be Chevetteguy?

I wear out more u-joints than break them. Seen more axle breakage and driveline destruction before u-joints.
FYI, I run 1330s and a 1330 to 1350 conversion in the rear.
In truck pulls I have seen waay more u-joint failures but that is usually caused by weight transfer on the sled and a "excited" driver. Read.... extreme axle hop.
