Hi folks:
I can ask these guys they expalin me in detail about the mod, they´re from Mar del Plata, it´s 400km from Buenos Aires Capital where I live, but I talk with them almost every day via NEXTEL.
The seals they use for the one piece glass, are of Ford Taunus Coupe, it´s a small coupe built here in 70´and early 80´s, that had no vents.
Here we have plenty of them, but you´d have to look for something easy to find for you, probably from a two door car, that has large doors, to cover the large one piece glass.
If you can´t find somethig that matches, we´ll find the way to send you the seals
Good luck and we´re in touch.

IMO vent windows are a superior design to one-piece glass except for 3 factors 1) air conditioning makes them unnecessary for modern cars (you are expected to use the air conditioning if the temperature is above 70F), 2) they are a security risk, and 3) they are un-aerodynamic. Thus they are gone.
I like them, but I don't keep anything valueable in my cars, and I drive with the windows down in hot weather.Tim Reese

I like the look of the single piece glass, and I would like to try it on my 88 GW. Has anyone tried or seen anything like this on all four doors of a GW? I just think it looks clean, and my regulators and seals are shot anyway. May be time for a JY run!

I wish my XJ had wing windows. I used them a lot in the Dieselwag. There are a lot of sunny days here where the interior gets warm but it isn't warm enough to run the A/C. It was always nice to open the wing windows for fresh air.-87 Grand, 6.5L diesel, MHI TE06H turbo, Water/air intercooler, Art Carr 700R4, CS-130, hydroboost. 21/24mpg, dead 229 [Custom 242 on the way]
