Hey all, I just got my first waggy (85 model). Doing a brake job right now, and on the pass. side the locking hub was not there..as in the axle end was just floating around.
I have no idea if it was run in 4wd for any length of time like this, or why this was done in the first place. I guess I may find out there is something up with the front axle. Or it could be someone started to work on it and didn't know what they were doing.
So I'm hunting on ebay for the replacement non manual locking hubs, and it seems like there are a lot of used manual locking units out there for d44's. For instance:
But then I go to summit racing and see this...
If you look at the applicatoin for this though, it says J10 and J20, but not Wagoneers.
Sorry if this is too much of a newb question, just trying to avoid buyig the wrong stuff.
