'67 J100 panel truck on Roadkill Garage

You have to be a member of motor trend on demand to watch it but it was pretty cool.

If you can't make it better why waste your time. No use repeating the orignal mistakes. I'm to old to push it that's why.

Just a little trivia here guys ..

This truck belonged to Rick Pewe [ Various editorial jobs on the magazines. Currently the editor of JP ]. Sat in his backyard for years.. I have been friends with Rick for many, many years.

He tried to get me to buy it.. I went and looked while I was out there.. pretty cool barn door SJ. Originally a military radio unit. Has data plaques on the dash. I seriously thought about it, but I wanted a regular Chief.

He is thrilled it is now being used and back on the road.

For more of Rick's stuff they also did a CJ-3A on Dirt Every Day about 2 years ago.

Didn't Pewe cut one up a fews years ago and beat the snot out of it out in the desert or was that Cappa? Whoever it was some of the "purists" of the FSJ world went NUTS that they cut up a rare panel wagon. Either way, they are really cool and would love to get my hands on one.

You don't have to butcher a rare panel.

Look closely at my picture. That's a 1980 Cherokee
