Looking great. I had a 72 chevelle almost identical to the one behind your GW. I was really into A body 68-72 cars for many years. Cool to see a nice one.

Great eye its a '72. It has been a fun father-son project. We are just about done. If you are ever done. What made you stop? I am having a great time with the GW, a lot more challenging than Chevelles.

The last Chevelle I had I sold to my brother. I had a ton of work into it. non factory 454, 4spd 12 bolt posi hotchkis suspension etc... Sold it to him in 08 I think. He left it out of gear on his trailer and it rolled off and bent the frame. I lost interest in them after that.

Your Jeep is coming along nicely. It looks like a family project as well.

Ours is the original 350 with a few extras, 425 Hp. Its been a fun project. My son and Grandson usually come by on Saturday and help out on the GW.

I'm back to working on the re-wiring. This week I wired the front end, Back end, Dome lights and sniper. Need to extend the wires going from Ignition box to battery. Hardest part is re-routing sniper wires so they do not run parallel to all other wiring. Added a Bussman box will come in handy for alarm system.

I suspected a PO worked on the wiring. I opened the harness and was shocked. Duck tape for covering the wiring.Lots of work to do.

So far this has been the only real train wreck in your build so the FSJ Gods are just trying to even the score a little.

Kinda true! This is the only time I felt a little over my head. I am getting it done but it sure is slow going. So far it is a lot cleaner looking and less wires, which is what the guy at EZ wire said, still it makes me nervous.

Not as much done this month as I had hoped. The re-wiring has been ridiculously slow because I had so much to research. Went to the lake for a much needed R&R and took another week to catch up on work. Decided to ease back and work on tailgate window. Rebuilt tailgate motor and replace pins on regulator need to clean up Serehill tailgate harness.

I believe that duct tape on the harness is original. My '84 had it also.

Finally got everything working with the Tailgate Window, the dash switch, the key switch in the back and the remote control. All works GREAT!

Wow. Couldn't help but notice the test lead set you have there. Haven't seen anyone here using Govt surplus before. Besides myself that is. Lol. I checked that NSN and turns out I have one in stock. Gonna have to pull it tomorrow and see what it's all about. Nice work btw.
1974 Cherokee S. It's driving but needs more work. As usual!

Good eye there. My brother was an electrician in the Navy and he gave those to me. Have had them for 30 some years, they come in handy.
