Good option for TBI or EFI on 360? Existing thread?

Howdy friends --

I'm sure there is... but new to the site and my searching hasn't revealed the jackpot thread yet...but I'm sure it's been covered...probably 50x over.

So, for the '84 waggy i just picked up...I"m looking to do something similar that I did to my '93 YJ that I put a SBC 350 in...I put a TBI system out of a 1991 suburban on it...and it's been great. Fixed any and all altitude and angle issues I was having in Moab with the carb I had on it.

So what's the concensus on the best EFI or TBI swap onto the 360 motor? Very unfamiliar with the 360...this is my first exposure to it.

Any help and/or pointing me to a good existing thread that's already hashed this out is much appreciated! Cheers!

I find it very hard to believe you didn't find anything searching/reading.

Easiest/cheapest is DIY GM 1227747 TBI system, you used it already on YJ.
16197427 pcm can be used as an 'upgrade'.

Dynamic Fuel injection EBL ecm more control of GM TBI style system.
Edelbrock makes an AMC MPFI system but EXPENSIVE
MassFlo makes an AMC MPFI system based on Ford EEC-IV & EXPENSIVE

Several vendors also sell bolt on FI throttle body systems.
FastEFI, Edelbrock, etc.

How much money do you want to spend? $500, $1300, $3500?
