for sale 79 race cherokee chassis,( desert racing), mostly complete, local pick up only, cash, no trades, Tim , phoenix az, 623-696-6524 $400 HAS TITLE perfect for offroad rock crawler or with drivetrain( turbo 400, quadratrac available) for additional $300.00, . Axles $1400, dana 60 race rear end and dana 44 hd front end, comes with 2 sets of 4:10 gears for dana 60

What info do you have on the axles? WT or NT? Gears or lockers? Leaf spring setup or linked?

the axles wt and leaf spring set up and direct bolt in,and are dana 60 rear, full float with henry's aluminum hubs, 5x 5.5, spool with 5:13 gears and 4;10 gears, disc brakes, set up for leaf springs, the front is the dana 44 hd out of 3/4 ton, 5:13 gears, open diff,disc brakes,5x5.5, both axles are ready to use all had been gone through with new bearings and joints and seals. the leaf springs are off the j-10 originally and are super soft, set up for secondary suspension set up and work very well. these are installed in the cherokee now. the chassis's are straight and ready for freshening up. more pics at race dezert , com under classified section for race vehicles or call if you are serious, 623-696-6524

finally found the pics, Nice rig. I could see me flying down the beach in this thing, then getting caught.

well, when we were racing it, not much could catch it, fast and fun. they loved it when we were racing in mexico to!

Man this thing is THE COOLEST. I really wish this had come up for sale sooner, or later. I can not buy it right now. I'll build my own someday.

I don't have the money, unless you want to donate it to a penniless college kid I can't do it. There would also be the issue of getting it from AZ to colorado and convincing someone to store it for me for ten or so years.

Aka, I can't do it. I hope this finds a good home.

thanks for the help, can not believe some one would not jump on this? this would be a great start to a rock crawler, 4 wheeler, etc., the dom tube cage is worth double the price alone. have a lot of parts to finish this up and get it back on the trail.
