JEEP PLOW TRUCKS

This picture was taken at my upstate New York place in mid April 2010 so the snow is gone.

The truck in Primer is an 85 J-20 bought he from a guy stationed in Stewart Air Force Base in NY. He and the truck came form Georgia so it is about 95% rust free. I did a 4 inch super lift, 2 inch body lift to clear the 37 BFG Mud terrains on H2 wheels. The rear required a custom spacer to prevent the tires hitting the springs. It also has a Lock Rite in the rear, 360 automtic.

Not that we care about little Jeeps, but the CJ is a 1977 with an 86 tub. Has a mild 360, T-18, Scout Dana 300, front and rear Lock rites, 3 inch lift with 33's. This is the one that Grantshire and I wheeled in Virginia last September and got stuck halfway up a monster hill with the street Holley flooding over.

The little J-20 is a bone stock 1986 that has been there since I bought it in 1998 locally in NY. When I tell you I have done nothing to this truck I am serious. It has the same battery from 1999, tires, ect. Has only been driven 3000 miles in 11 years,mostly to town and back for fuel. The floors are gone as is the bed, but it always starts even at -20 degrees. When it get down to -30 degrees I need to put the salamander under it for 10 minutes.

I am going to try and do a line up on Saturday. I have a 95% finished 87 J-20, an 89 GW, a frame up build 81 CJ 7, and an 85 CJ 7 on 37's.

Let's see how the weather in NJ is on Saturday.

Make sure you have a good undercoating applied. Road Salt melts Jeep metal.
