My Jeep at the company car show
We had a car show at the company I work at.I decided to show my truck. There was not a large turn out of vehicles, but a few interesting ones.
Here is my truck:
Here is my truck and me:
Here is the Chairman of the board's Bugatti and our CEO's Fiskar Kharma behind it.
The Bugatti costs over 1.5 million. I was surprised that the Chairman of the board let anyone sit in and touch it.
It was a fun event, and I got lots of interest in my Jeep. Two or 3 people told me that they use to have a Jeep when they were younger.

Where do you work?
And are they hiring?
That orange truck is better looking than both of those supercars. I wish you had a picture of the three of them together!
...this isn't sour grapes talking here, but what kind of morale booster is it when the CEO and Chairman of the board own cars worth well over a million dollars (Modern expensive cars mind you, not restorations passed down through generations), and then bring them to a sparsely attended "company" car show?
Trade them both in and buy everyone in the company a super cool classic car...so that at next year's car show the parking lot is FULL!

Nice truck. My previous 72 J-4500 was also angry pumpkin orange same winch an bumper set up too. My factory wheels were orange body colored though but I blacked out the spoke centers and it didn't have the granny steps under the doors. Nice truck ya got there.
So a "Fiskar Kharma" is a a car huh not a mideast combat knife? Interesting.
Dang I miss my J-4500.

You're lucky that fiskar didn't burn the place to the ground.

It depends, on the morale booster...its bad when the CEO says "we can't afford raises this year" and shows up in that. I worked for a small company and one of the owners has a new Corvette, when they said no raises, (employees could boost pay with sales and production incentives though) people were not too happy...

What kind of company do you work for? I also see a vintage Rolls in the back ground.

That's cool you brought your truck. We are having a 'family fun day' at the plant I work at later this year. This will be the first year they include an employee car show. I am not sure if I will bring the Jeep or the Mustang. I am rather sure there won't be any Bugatti's there.
The plant manager drives a volvo. I have no idea what our new CEO drives, he is headquartered in Texas where the two other plants are. Seems like a cool guy. One of the first things he did was remove the 'assigned' parking spots.

I'd take your J-truck over the Bugatti or the other Fiskar thing anyday.
Nice truck. Thanks for the pics.

The OP did say that the Chairman let people sit in it and touch it. Sounds like a nice guy to me.

I cant remember the company, but didnt they make em for all the trucks in the 60's and 70's? My dad had a 1965 F100 with a very similar bumper. It really made the truck.

You have a beautiful truck, I do think it is cooler than the super cars as well. Yeah, super cars can be nice but they are in a way over rated. Nice photos!
