The cargo area panels are a little beat up, but they will have to do.

The plastic sheet needs to be on the doors. Glued around the top and sides and tucked into the door cavity at the bottom so any water that gets on it stays in the door to go out the drains rather than running down the panels and onto the inside of the door and down to the carpet.Sic friatur crustulum

(Are those the factory armrests?)
Yes, I have three good ones. One is broke, but not to bad. Once I get it back on the road, I want to start trying to find some of the small stuff I'am not happy with. At some point you have to go with what you have. My father-in-law has a saying, (GOOD ENOUGH FOR WHO IT'S FOR!) This applies to me.1978 Wagoneer

Those door panels turned out great! Solsaks said it right that trim looks amazing on the black panels, makes consider changing mine when I do them.

A good place to look for new rests is on the AMC forums as well. The FSJ arm rest were also used on a few other AMC cars of the time. Don't quote me, but Hornets, Ambassador's, Matador's, and likely a few others used those.
Also it was more common to see the back part of the rests in chrome like yours on the cars, and not the Wagoneer's.(Ristow)fram!....that deserves a ratchet upside the head.

Wow.....! The door panels are beautiful. Nice restoration work big time. It is nice to see your progress. Stunning is an understatement.
I wish I had known you needed new door cards. I still have a stack here. As long as all the holes are in the same place as earlier wag's, they should have been good to go. I am going in to town this next week to have the water jet place do 6 more rears and 4 fronts. So I can do some more work this winter. I want to experiment with a different process. I can see you sure did not need them. Your door panels can't be beat. Seeing them is inspirational.

Thanks all. It was a fun project working on the door cards and getting the door panels back in shape. Also my seats are going off to get recovered tomorrow. Once he gets them disassembled, I'am going to take my seat frames back and weld up any weak spots or cracks. Also I have some of the NAPA frame paint left over and will paint them with that.1978 Wagoneer

Seats are at the upholstery shop. He said, two or three weeks. My rear seat pan had a few dents in it, so I did my best to get it straight. It came out Okay. I have a good bit of chassis paint left over so I sprayed it with that. It's a semi-gloss.
