    I agree rang

that wagoner looks like it would eat the PTCruiser for breakfast.

    good job Taylor.

I would feel like a NASA engineer if I took an intake off and replaced it,
and found it worked after replacement !!!

I am not much of a wrenched, but admire those who are.

    you are making it yours

I agree with the bench seat addition, more room for the wife to sit close, more room for the dog, the groceries, everything !!!

I like the amber fog lights too, i am looking for new housings because these got rusty from sitting and the bulbs ground through the housing. That or just run a dedicated ground wire.

The Wagon does look pretty mean next to the PT, thank you both for the kind words.
I am sure you could do the intake if you tried it is not very hard just very heavy! Again thank you.
I wasn't sure about the bench at first but after it was in and i sat in it, i absolutely loved it! Don't tell the wife but she was right on this one

Went to the Junkyard over the weekend to try and find some odds and ends. Nothing on these that I needed but look at how many they have!
          Pure Junkyard Gold!

These Two Wide Track Cheros are for sale! Not parting out, one is a donor to the other, both are in pretty darn good shape. One is mostly gutted but has all the missing pieces for the other that is nearly all there.

Also here are 2 original gas tank skid plates, already removed waiting to be bought!

Over the last several weeks I've been working on a duel snorkel, like many of you have already done .
Here are the 2 to make 1.

            The Cut!

I mocked up the one I want to use on the car and marked the rough center point of the two snorkels and the center point between both. (thats the silver sharpie marks)

Shows where the new snorkel will be grafted on, and how much of the flange i need to cut off to still keep that hose port.

Heres with extra bits cut off for a more close representation.

Clamped together, to mock up on the Wagon to check clearances with the brake booster.

Just decided to go for it. Been so long since i welded and it shows (should have done practice welds).

                All together, time to grind

Sorry no pictures of all the grinding, just got in the zone. Here it is basically complete, need to sand blast and repaint but done and usable for now. I have been running it for the last week and the welds have held.

WHAT THE HECK?!?!? 5 Wagos?!?! And they look mostly rust free?!?!? I am lucky to see one FSJ every 4 months show up in my wrecking yards down here.

How much do they want for the Cherokees? they look like their fender flares are solid. Not that I am interested, just curious.

You air filter looks awesome! I love it!

They actually have 6 Wagons, but i couldn't fit it in the picture and there was a 90s Cherokee in between.

They were asking $3000 for both about 8 months ago when I questioned them. But i bet now you could talk them down.
The front flares are immaculate on both, but the first Chero in the pic has pretty bad rears. The second has repairable rears. Overall really good. Plus the rest of the second one is really clean, the first one has bad runners but again I'd use it as a donor to the second.

Thanks Marc, I used yours as inspiration!

Surprisingly easy to build, as long as you have two intakes to start with

I think I have the old gauge cluster bezel that I had in my 82 wag. Looked just like yours. If you are still interested in making your own panel, It's yours for the taking. Back in the late 80's I cut all the gauges out of it and made my own Tach/speedo/amp gauge cluster.

If you want it, pm me. You might be able to use it as a mock up piece without destroying yours.

I was at the same yard a few years back. They had just gotten the black Waggy with the rear damage in. It was hit hard in the rear... but otherwise pristine!!!

They wouldn’t sell any parts off it then as they were trying to sell it complete. I wonder what it’s status is now.
