Calling all Northeast Ohioans!

Got a 360 I want to get rebuilt. I am about an hour south of Cleveland in the Akron/Canton area. I am looking for a good machine shop. Does anyone from the area know of any trustworthy machine shops that have experience with the AMC engine in this area?

NE OH? Have you tried local info and checked with any Toledo based car clubs? If anywhere has a AMC specific knowledge base of car freaks of who does what well I would think NE OH would.

I had mine rebuilt at budget engine, off of ridge rd just north of parma. They did a great job and the turn around time was about 3 days.

K&B Engine & Machine in North Olmsted is a very reputable machine shop. Ken has been machining and building motors for years. I have a friend who just had his 360 done there. You can find out more info on his website.

Speak to Rick AKA "SC/397" here on the forum.
Rick lives near Riga, MI, which is kinda south of Blissfield, MI
He has an awesome shop and builds motors on the side to help fund his projects.
Rick's motors are some of the best AMC engines you can buy.

I am guessing he is a 2.5 hour drive from you, 3 tops

I would like to encourage you to support our fellow members, instead of spending it with someone that does not know nor care about AMC engines.

Yea that is about 2.5 hours from me. I might reach out to him because I have no problem driving that far for great quality and workmanship. Thanks for the info!
