    14 bolt rear axle swap

I have seen ppl swap in a 14 bolt rearend on cherokees. does anybody know what they took the axle from? how does the passenger side offset effect the swap. does the 14 bolt have the same offset? do you have to cut down the axle and shafts? are the spring perches the same width. is shock mounts same setup. any help would greatly appreciated.

Which model of 14 bolt are you thinking of? There are a few to choose from. This lighter duty 6 lug ones from a late model Chev might work out well I have one, I will check the centering and width and let you know what I see.

So the 2000's version 14 bolt I have is about 47ins on the spring perches, about 65/66 ins on the wms to wms, and is perfectly centered.
