I agree with what everyone says about him on the post. I am one of the lucky ones that bought both his tailgate and the headlight harnesses.
When I had questions or any trouble he would didn't have any trouble getting back to me on the phone.

He was very friendly and knowledgable and talked me through a wiring problem with the stock dash tailgate switch which had to be modified to work with his kit. (His kit includes an aftermarket switch but I wanted to use the stock one)

I've only been on here about a year but have seen how we have lost a valuable asset to this forum.

This site won't be the same without him.
Rest in Peace

So sorry about your loss. Always enjoyed reading his posts and Im glad I got the chance to use his tailgate harness.

Ever since I saw pictures of his Jeep Ive told myself I would like to have a Jeep just like his. I Think about that Jeep fairly often.

Wink RIP

I am just reading this today with eternal thanks to a great man.

I will miss Rick very very much, he was a very nice man willing and cheerfully shearing his LOVE for his fellow jeepers and all.

He loved helping any one with his knowledge any time.

I will miss Rick, but never forget him...

To his family, just know that Rick will be a legacy to all who new him..

God speed...Gods speed

Sorry to read about this. I'm not here often anymore and he was one of those that kept this place open and active the past few years.

Sorry to hear about Rick

Rick was always so helpful and willing to talk. He has helped me to build, fix, repair, upgrade and improve my son's 89 GW. I cannot thank him enough for his patience with me. I will miss him. Thanks for everything, Rick!

Todd,

Iíve been off of the site for a bit and only now just saw this post. Very sad news indeed. Your dad had helped me tremendously on my ongoing project either by supplying me hard parts such as my tranny and TC case etc or by his awesome wiring products and wiring advice. He was a wealth of knowledge and just a straight up good down to earth guy. Iím very sorry for your loss. RIP Rick, you will be missed.

Oh my God, I haven't been here in quite a while and thought I'd check in. I can't believe Rick is gone! Todd, I'm so very sorry for your loss, I'm in shock. I had the pleasure of meeting your dad a couple times and greatly enjoyed his company. Godspeed Rick.

Dang it!! I've been away from the site for a bit and I haven't been by Rick's in about a year. I am so saddened by this news, even though it's over 6 months old now. I will miss him a lot, he helped me out of more than a few jams. Even pulled the radiator out of his Jeep to get me back from Waco back in 2013. He was the best. I have the radiator from his Cherokee, the wheels from his J truck and a tuned up CB that he gave me, an exhaust manifold and a front bumper in my Wag. I do and will continue to think of him often. Rest easy my friend
