I am in northwest Phoenix area, Surprise Az. How and where would I ship something like this across the country? Keep in mind I am an 1 1/2 hour drive to the bus depot one way.

me too. You don't even need to package it... would probably be about $100 from AZ to AL.

Fedex will also ship/transport as is,
they just tag it or stick a label on it
and ship it as is.

I got an OEM roll bar/light bar for a j10 shipped like that
just a Fedex adhesive label on it for address, etc.

the one on eBay has been reduced to 775.00

I really do not want to drive 3 hour round trip to ship it greyhound, the fed ex closest to me is one of the ship it places and they charge a lot more money than going to fed ex itself. The fed ex place is a little closer to me but still would be 2 hours round trip to get it there. Any other ideas? I have photos I can email out.

if you bring it in already labeled the independent ship places will take it.
part of their contract w/ fedex

i have shipped many large items unboxed with just a label.

maybe ask around and see if you can find someone with fedex acct. and get a prepaid label?

cutting the lower mount "legs" off also makes them easier to ship.
a '78 bar needs mods to bolt to '79-up anyways
