    Oil pump housing gasket replacement

    How easy is it to pop the oil pump housing off to replace the gasket? I have a leak there that needs addressed. I have a 215 Olds with a similar oil pump setup, super easy to get everything on and off. Would like to check the pressure relief valve and the end play while the cover is off.

    Piece of cake. If you have a TSM take a look at the exploded view. If you don't have a TSM look at the oil pump diagram for the rebuild kit at BJ's Off Road. (www.bjsoffroad.com).

        Rats, my BJs order just shipped. I did not realize they had this part, will for sure order it shortly. I do have the TSM.

          For the AMC 360 engine it's not to difficult ,but make sure you don't drop the gears on the ground when removing the cover.
