a loooong time ago I saw a monstertruck named kimosabe that was an old fsj Cherokee.he ran the rad in the rear cargo space but one thing that really caught my eye was that he just had an outer tailgate skin on the rear of the rig.it was held on with a couple of small pins that looked similar but smaller than hoodpins.
has anyone ever done this?
my tailgate is in bad shape and the fact that I still daily drive it with 44 inch tires on new jerseys pothole riddled roads makes me cringe everytime I go over one.
the rear of my chero is basically useless from the outside because for me at least its so high up.
I was wondering about permanently putting a window in the closed position(stock or plexiglass)and then pinning just a skin of a tailgate to the body.
your thoughts?
