    carpet crease

an industrial steamer will get out the crease
once i had a headliner stored in a box for 2 years
    for a 1969 charger,
it had been folded into a 12x12 square
the steamer got it out like magic.
my friend who works at a furniture manufacturer
    got it from work.
they use it to remove creases in upholstery fabric
( be careful, those machines will take the flesh right off the bone ! )

This weekend I got the center armrest console completed except for the cover plate. Finished up the overhead console. Installed the front area headliner.

Now I've got rear air and two additional power outlets.

How u get air to it?

        Separate or piped in?

Seems it would fit into dash if you did some cutting in front and tied it into vents.

Looks, like it belongs other than that.

It looks great. That's a lot of work!
Any chance you remember where and what the matching burgundy paint came from? I'm trying to get as close as I can with not much luck. Thanks.
            Working on my first one!

Took a break from Halloween until now, when my wife decided to go nuts and file for divorce. Just got back into this, and installed the wood grain this weekend.

We used the Marine Teak vinyl from Team Grand Wagoneer. I now know that BJ's also carries this same vinyl.

After removing the wood trim using a heat gun, we cleaned the panels with denatured alcohol, then wiped with a micro fiber rag to delint it. We positioned the decal where we wanted it, then used masking tape along the top edge to create a hinge. Then we started at the top, pulling about an inch of the paper from the backside of the decal, working our way down with a squeegee (included with the kit). Work slow, starting in the center and working your way out. We didn't get any air bubbles.

Finally got around to finishing up the center console. I used ABS plastic, heated it with a heat gun, cut it with a carpet knife. Then used the same spray paint I used on the console to paint and trimmed out with door edge molding. Double sided velcro on the back to attach to the console.

Cargo strips cleaned, polished and installed. Seatbelts and back seat put back in. All that's left now is the back door window motors, locks and glides on the back glass. Clean up and she's done. On to the next one.
