They are custom to your (or OEM) spec's , I am pretty sure pads, leaf taper, dimpling ... can all be specified if so desired, they are proud of their work though.

These are the pads that Markus and I used to rebuild our springs.

Stanley Spring, Harrisburg Pa makes 'em. Not a restoration item - the clamps are thicker than the OEM bandclamps. You need to find a retailer such as these folks. http://www.stengelbros.net/Jeep-Leaf-Springs_c_207.html

I'd also recommend a local spring shop. In any case new leafs at all 4 corners is going to be a big expense. So don't be shy about asking where they get their steel. US spring steel is expensive but unless you just like buying and replacing springs often, it's only way to go.
As mdill mentioned Eaton will build you an excellent quality spring as will National but they're both prolly the most expensive option.
"No way no how" let anyone talk you into re-arching your old springs. BTDT...bad plan Joe very bad plan. They're maybe ok if it's for a show car that doesn't get used but for real world use...pure junk and you'll be buying new springs very soon so don't figure your saving 50% but rather adding 50% to the cost of new springs. Shop wisely and ask questions, lotsa junk China spring steel out there.

Since the semi's have gone to air bags the local spring shop has started to go the way of the buggy whip, and radiator shops, they are still there but not so much in every town anymore.

Even spring shops don't make the leafs, with rare exception. They stock or can order leafs and leaf packs from one of the manufacturers such as Triangle or Stanley.

Stengle Bros will ship or you can contact Stanley and Triangle and ask who sells there springs nearest to you.

I had Triangle springs on a different vehicle and they were not as a good as the OEMs. The leafs themselves were thinner for the application. Lasted about 80k miles, some very hard, which isn't terrible but wasn't great. When they came off one pack was down to 135 #/in the other 160 #/in. Both started at 180 #/in.

The Stanley springs for the Wag are exactly the same leaf thickness, number and shape as the OEM ones. I've got about 40k miles on the current set.

Looks like I'm in the same general part of the country as you. You got the Stanley springs from Stengel bros? How much were they? Are they in the north east US?

Actually, I called the shop I used to use - Pheonix in Palm, Pa. and asked what they could get. I believe they got them from Stengle since that's the main spring retailer up that way. That and the frame rail welding were both jobs I was glad to have a shop I could fob them off on. Unfortunately, they shut down that shop and that partner and all his people have gone different ways.

Springs were just over $401 rear, $427 front pair;that was in 2004 and includes usual markup when buying from shop.
Current prices are on the website, same part number as on my wag.

I would not be surprised if that is price each but you should call and verify.
You could also hunt down the manufacturer's phone or e-mail to find a spring shop out your way that carries them.

                    springs

I happen to have a set that I removed from my '90GW about 4 years ago
sitting inside ever since I installed the 2" lift springs.

If the springs are re-arched correctly they'll work fine. I had my DD 98 Cherokee re-arched in 2008. They are fine today off road and even on the wonderful roads we have in the Detroit area. It all depends on the spring builders experience and knowledge.

One of my front springs on my J20 has a nasty bend in it so i need a factory replacemnt. I'm getting ready to do a spring over so I don't want any additional lift height from the springs.
