Buy one, more show up. They are like cats!
Bought a really clean J2000 and thought I would just revive it and sell it, but today I tripped over a Super Wagoneer and am thinking “that interior would be cool in a pickup”!

If you found a Super, why not restore both. Congrats on the finds!

Except for the few "wild" editions, the trucks are a lot less valuable than the wagons. It's not just Jeeps; pickups don't have the value of same-year passenger cars. It gets worse as the GVWR goes up - old medium/heavy trucks have very little value typically.
Sacrificing the Wagoneer to make a unique J-truck seems like a doubly-losing plan to me.

I'm with Mr. Solsaks. Your rigs, do what you want.
IMHO, use one to make other one awesome BUT I think you could more easily make the truck awesome if you flip the Super Wago for some quick $$$$ then use that money to make the Truck super fun. Everyone wins!!!
