    Help finding a temp gauge

I’ve checked all of the usual bj’s, team gw, etc. The only ones available are for a 76-84. I’ve got the ole 3 gauge out issue so pretty sure I need the CVR replaced. Any ideas? Thanks, as always.

Gauge internals are the same 1973-1985
    Only difference is the face(font/lettering).
So whatever gauge you find/buy will work fine it just not match the others.

If needed you can swap the face plate to make it match if you are careful.

Thanks tony. I’ve got a question submitted to bj’s as they told someone in the comments section that it doesn’t fit and doesn’t have CVR. The product description says it does have it.

lol if they're selling it for 76-84 it has a cvr or install would result in no functionality of the gauges.

look @ your cluster and your gauge i bet $ it has the cvr internally

So BJsreplied and still say it is the wrong gauge. Nonetheless, I put it in. I was elated when the gauges worked. Then not elated when I went to turn it off at gas station and it would not turn off. Had to take distributor off to get it to stop. Is there a chance this is linked? This was the first time starting it since gauge change. I can not imagine what I could have done, at least not deliberately. I was around corner from my mechanics so it is sitting there which is probably best.

11/24 follow up: pulled out temp gauge; it was fried and issue with not shutting off is fixed. Gonna do the 7805 fix Tim g posted.
