    BJs fiberglass widetrack flares

Anyone ever used them? Know someone who used them? Know a build thread that used them?

You can try and call Drew at the jeep farm in north phoenix, he has used them and will be happy to talk with you about them.

      Copy that, Tim.

So I found a set of flares from a guy down here in SoCal that was parting out a rig. His Cherokee (a 77 WT) had rusty flares too but he didn't feel like spending a couple weekends worth of work swapping flares. He is using the BJs fiberglass flares. He has sent me a few pictures of his work.

He said it was about 4 hours of work per side to remove the old flare and mock fit the new flares. He used a spot weld cutter but pre-drilled the pilot hole with a 7/64's bit. He said the BJs flares are a nice tight fit and just kind of snap into place. Plan is to use a couple rivets to generally hold them where they should be, then use fiberglass resin jelly to bond them in place. Some 3M seam sealer will be used between the flare and quarter panel skin. He said they give a nice tight fit. I think they look pretty amazing AND won't ever rust again!

These pictures make me want to get started on cutting mine off!!!!
