Just kidding, here's what we've got so far - I'm typing this from Columbia, MO...

      Mountains in NC

This is a pretty important part...

We felt welcome, which is good because we spent most of the day there!

A small bit of the rain from today

      Next state

Kentucky is preparing us for Kansas tomorrow

This says Welcome to Illinois, I promise!

Not a lot to say about Illinois, well actually there is, but mom always said not to say anything at times like this..

This one says Welcome to Missouri, I promise here as well!

It's 3:30 am, we're going to sleep now...

Considering where we started, we're pretty much down the street from camp, in Colorado Springs!
Here are some shots from the day's traveling
                    Missouri

                    Bridge over Missouri River

                    Missouri River from the bridge

                    Kansas

Some of what Kansas had to offer.

Old wind power and new wind power in the same shot

                    Train

Cattle in the water, cattle in the sand

Welcome to Colorado! I've got to get better at taking pictures of these signs!

Got in just in time for this

                    Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs is not so friendly to 20' trailers with sleepy drivers. I'm declaring this the only damage of the trip!

We're planning to head to KOA in the morning, but aren't in a hurry, we plan to soak in some Rocky Mtn scenery! See you tomorrow!

Yes, indeed. Your pics will have to do for our trip this year for the "drive" aspect since we have to make a short trip and are flying out. See you there!

Sorry Rod and Joan, the pictures from today probably aren't gonna make you feel any better! ;-)

We're here! We got into camp around 7:30, took a bit to set up, then Sarah cooked us dinner! Here's how we got here today...
