    URE Trail workday

This is about land use, lets hope the mods approve :rolleyes for no reason:

We (the Carolina Full Size Jeep Club) had a workday today. We sponsor a trail at Uwharrie National Forest where we host the annual FSJ East Coast Invasion. We have several workdays on our trail every year.

Some of our work today included removing trees from the trail, draining puddles of silt, and reworking the corduroy bridges. Here are some pics.

You will see in the second pic a decent size stream that will soon have a bridge over it. Hopefully, if we can get things straight, the bridge will be named after our fallen soldier and FSJ'er Josh Desforges

      Thanks.

We had very small attendance....We have several a year and the attendance varies.

Myself, Rod(rod2), Jim(warwagon), Todd(greengiant) and Tyler(phatmax95) were the club members who participated. Myself, Rod and Todd were the ones with FSJs there.

If you go to our club home page (cfsjc.com), you can read more about our club and its members and there you can check out under 'Photos and Videos' more pics from this weekend's workday and also other workdays and events.

I told you I could not make it, even with the pool parties.

I don't miss those hot sweaty August days in the Carolinas. Good on y'all for the effort!
