    ISO 6 cyl / manual / 4wd for J truck

Looking for as complete of a powertrain as possible to swap into my '74 J10 that was swapped to J20 axles & springs. A manual trans would be much more appreciated over an auto. I would prefer to hear it run / see it drive if possible (current video is cool). Please let me know as much as possible about what you have, anything it may need to be fully reliable, where you're located, and how much you are asking. I live in Central Oregon off of the I-5. I can travel some to pick it up and am also open to driving to a hub to pick it up from a shipper if that makes it easier and/or more affordable to help make the deal.

    258 engine - complete

    Found this over on FSJN

Sounds like the guy would give the engine away.

I do not need one, and when I came across the guys thread on FSJN, bumped Tigger to see if he still needed one.

But, if I lived close enough, I would pick up a complete 258 fan to flywheel in a second before letting it go to the scrap yard, running or not.

Getting too hard to find original parts like these anymore.

          Thanks guys!

I just posted a response over on FSJN and we'll see what comes of it.

IF this works out I'd still be looking for a 5speed, xfer case, and such.

              Thanks!

I got the notifier that you tried to PM, but it was full. Cleared it out some.

Hey Tigger. If you got that 258 and it’s not quite what you need, I am looking for another crankshaft to build a stroker with since the crack mongrels bashed my billet crank to pieces.

I have several different 4.0Ls and clutch pedals I think are off an FSJ. I’m getting ready to let go of my cabin soon for the right price (I hope. The CIA sniper next door has been guiding the huge male black bear into Methsylvania but he hasn’t been well for awhile. )
Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental.

I haven't been able to get out of here or find a way to get it up here.

Anybody you know that went to Ouray Invasion, might be able to swing by and pick it up?

                    Just a thought

Unfortunately no one. I have a trailer that I need brought up here that is in AZ that I need up here too. It's been offered to be brought to SoCal to help get it here, but I'm still having difficulty getting it here.

                        Ok

Followed that thread earlier but thought it was done already!

Will keep an ear to the rail in case something comes up
