Wiper motor won't engauge
On my 63 J300. It's the basic Delco 2-speed used from 63 through the 70's on Jeeps and in th e60's on GMs.
There are three plugs on the wiper motor. I'll call them plugs A, B anc C.
Plug A is a single tab with a green wire. Plug B is a double tab with (from L to R) a blue wire and a red wire with a white tracer. Plug C is actually on the washer motor, and is a double tab with a yellow wire and a red wire with a white tracer. The washer motor works off the switch.
I bench tested the motor by running a hot to the red w/white tracer from plug B, and a ground to the blue wire from the same plug. Worked fine.
All installed, no go.
I have power at the switch, and at the motor. On both Lo and Hi. Power is always on at the red w/white tracer wire of Plug B, and is on at the other wires of plugs A and B depending what speed is on.
So I have power where I am supposed to have power. I'm guessing a ground issue? The tab I jumped with a ground for teh bench test gets power while in the truck, not sure what is going on there. I always thought the motors grounded via the strap on the lower left screw.
The wiring is in good shape, not butchered, and it came with the motor. I have is hooked into my 63 correctly, according to my FSM.
Any thoughts?

Hook it back up and run a separate ground wire and see if that works.
thanks for describing the wiring, I needed that to hook mine back up

The problem is, I'm not sure where to ground it with it installed in the truck.
As I said, the spot I grounded for the bench test get power when installed in the truck. I'm going to run the test light on teh motor in the Gladiator and see if I get the same results.

Okay, easy fix. Check the motor on the 71 and blue never gets power. Pulled my switch back out and found that when putting the wires back in teh plug ( I took them out and cleaned the terminals) I had switched the blue for the yellow wire. So I was powering my ground.

Need help on Switch Wiring for this motor.
I got the motor wiring, but not clear on the switch.
Switch has 3 terminals - one off to the side and two close together.
Which is power, low speed/high speed and ground.
I think this is correct--
Also any one ever install a delay in this circuit?

Here is my new diagram of how I have it hooked up. I believe this is correct but just getting a big click when I engage the switch. Some have a blue or green wire... the colors don't matter as much as long as the circuit matches.
Will try testing by jumping switch.

Wiper Switch 2/ Motor Connections
Still can't figure which wire on the switch goes to each terminal on the motor. I have looked at the TSM, Service Manual and wiring diagram. It only shows it's connected to a switch.
Please note that I do suffer from mild brain damage (for real), but no more than the average person after "say 6-12 beers". It also helps be tolerate my anti-jeep wife. 
Lets call the terminals clockwise 1,2 & three.

You can see that over time I begin to answer my own posts...
OK the reason I have been going crazy with this is that I had a Jeep OEM NOS motor and washer. Since it was new I never tested it. So guess what. I did bench test it and it did not work.
Took it apart, all shiny and new on the outside - RUSTY and seized on the inside. 
I guess they should have told me it was New Old Crap when I bought it. Or maybe the parts department was located down next to Sponge Bob.
I will go back to fixing all my old stuff that I know can work.

Bummer on the NOC part. 
One of the AZ guys bought 2 NOS QuadraTrac tcases when they were available. He put one in his Cherokee and recently found water in the 2nd one and showed it to me. It was shipped to him this way and he did not know until he tried to take it apart and the rear shaft would not let go of the diff. The limited slip diff was all rusty crusty inside. That was a $700 bummer.

Thanks to all- Here is the corrected diagram for the FSJ Two Speed Wiper Motor from the switch, motor to wiper spray.
Also after soaking the motor in WD 40, wiping down and then blowing out with air all works perfect.
I wish I had similar diagrams for every switch- so I just might make them if others want. I have them all on paper.
