Welcome to the Street & Performance section!

First things first, a big thanks to Tad and the mods for hooking us up with this section!

As the title suggests this section is geared towards street and performance related topics. This covers everything from street cruisers to drag racers to the guy (or girl) that just wants more power. Feel free to post anything FSJ related that fits the theme of the section.

I have moved a number of useful threads in here, I'm sure there are more so please let me know if there is something you would like moved. Even though they're mostly older threads, feel free to reply to them if you have something useful to add.

    Happy posting!

Let me be the first to thank you for putting forth the time for this.

This would be a good place to gather all the turbo info together. Maybe a sticky?

I haven't seen a lot of turbo info on the board? If you can point me in the right direction I will investigate. Thanks for the idea!

I think there is some info on the amc forum, and bulltear forum. I haven't seen much here though.

Heres a couple I found with a quick search...

well i tried the search function but that mostly brought up stuff on diesel swaps. i figured i would see if anyone knew off the top of thier heads what size of a turbo generally suits the 360? i'm not looking for insane dragracer peak hp. but i would like a turbo capable of supporting 450+hp that boosts fairly low down but

so i have this spare 327 sitting around, and eventually after a rebuild ill turbo it and replace my current 327. question is when running a single turbo on a V8 is it just one manifold stays stock while obviously you put on a turbo manifold for one side. but do you have to link it between the 2 sides to equalize exhaust

I don't know if it's just me but i've tried doing searches on "Wheel sizes" and
            N O T H I N G comes up.. "sorry no matches"..??

I've typed in (under street and performance) size, wheels, what size wheels, and even -what- to just get "sorry no matches"..

I really think that it should be in a sticky SOMEWHERE. I mean besides exhaust, wheels and tires are the first things changed/upgraded.

            SO, I'll ask here.
Got a 81 Cherokee with 31/10 1/2's And want to find out what offerings are out there from the newer trucks that fit our 6-lug pattern?
            18"?
            19"?

            Thanks for the help.
