I cut that cowl piece off of my parts wagon I have, but it has what looks like factory Bondo on it so if I can't make it I will try and use the piece I have.

I think It would look great, I love a brow. I'll be lucky to get what I have fixed, but it would look cool.

just so happens that I have a front 1/3 of a roof (brow) left from my extended cab project///I only needed the rear section.........

Thanks for the offer on the brow but I'am going to let someone else buy that for a J-Truck. Okay, today I cut all the rust out of the bottom lip for the windshield gasket.

Just cut and grind all the rust out and fit new pieces then tack in place.

I like using the copper backing plate for this thin stuff. Helps with dissipating heat and burning through.

Still have a little welding to do on the back side of each repair and some trimming. Will try and do that tomorrow.

Looked at a few shrinker stretchers at Eastwood and such on line. They all looked the same, even the color. So I took a chance and picked up the Harbor Freight model and I think it will work out fine.

Just put a coat of primer on it until I can get some good paint on it to help slow down rust in the years to come.
