    Car show

I went to my second car show Saturday. The first one was a couple months ago. This time my wife made up a display board with my trucks specs on it and some picture of the progress. I also have the troop seats on it now. It was a good show with lots of NICE cars. I was of course the only military vehicle. I guess the extras I had really helped. I took third place. It was a tie between me and a '69 Mach 1. They had a revote for third and I won by a land slide. It was hot but a good time. Can't wait for the next one. Pictures aren't that good, but you can get the idea.

You can see the 782 gear hanging off the troop seats. Marine Corps specific. I also have a inert grenade that the kids liked.

This one you can see the "C" rations on the folded down troop seat in the back.

This is one of my rifle and Marine Corps helmet.

One of me and my second son with the trophy. My oldest boy was there with me also.

        Sweet!
I haven't seen many photos of your truck since it's been "done" (I know, they're never REALLY done....).

I posted a similar thread a couple days ago about a small show in my home town:
It's times like this that I love living in a small Mid-Western town. The first of two summer festivals that we have here is this weekend, and last night there was a cruise-in to benefit the local "families in crisis" shelter. They closed of the whole 2-block downtown and an additional block for overflow and charged

I didn't win any awards at this one, but I still had a blast.
The favorite car-show trophy I've gotten for my truck was a couple years ago when it was voted "Most Unique".
We are nothing if not "Unique"!

Scott, what are you looking for? There is no chrome on the outside of the truck. There is a little under the hood because I haven't gotten around to painting it yet, LOL!
